What is Superhero Therapy?
CSAM Psychologist Dr. Janina Scarlet is the founder of Superhero Therapy. This is a form of therapy which involves incorporating characters from pop culture - including Superheroes and other characters from comic books, as well as characters from fantasy (such as Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings), science fiction (such as Doctor Who or Firefly), and video games - into evidence-based therapy (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy).
