Dr. Janina Scarlet is currently offering telehealth sessions for California-based adult clients with anxiety and/or PTSD. While the term telehealth refers to health services delivered via phone, email, or video-conferencing, Dr. Scarlet conducts telehealth sessions using a HIPAA compliant video-conferencing platform. Though there are benefits of coming in to the therapy office, telehealth sessions expand access to care for clients who are not able to come in to the office due to physical, geographical, or other logistical restraints.
Like individual therapy sessions, telehealth sessions are 50 minutes long, typically once per week. Telehealth may not be suitable for all clients. Dr. Scarlet will assess each candidate and determine whether telehealth is clinically indicated.
